A cruising legend born from a confluence of talents, The Stevens 47 is a fast, three stateroom cruiser designed by Rod Stephens of the legendary Sparkman and Stephens firm. The Stevens 47 is arguably one of the most well respected bluewater vessels; her soft motion in a seaway, swift 200 nautical mile per day passages, and luxurious accommodations unrivaled by yachts of a comparable vintage.

A proven offshore thoroughbred, “Thea” (hull #51) was built in 1986 for George Patton, son of famous WWII general. One of last built under Stevens name before changing to Hylas. Currently on her third owners, who purchased her in 2005.

The 47′s greatest strength is her sailing capabilities. The performance of these Stevens is legendary. The hull shape and keel-rudder configuration make them surprisingly stiff and fast boats, well-balanced in any condition with a smooth motion offshore.

The Steven Hylas 47 is a one of king S&S design that can be your magic carpet to the world! Check our her full specs and let the experts in yacht ownership here in Mexico show you how easy it is to begin your cruising dreams today!

Located in the heart of the world’s best cruising grounds. La Paz, Mexico, the gateway to the Sea of Cortez. Dozens of gorgeous anchorages with white sand beaches, crystal clear warm turquoise water, many within a days sail to downtown La Paz.
