Description

Located in: San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico
Year: 199
Hull Material: Fiberglass
Yachtworld Number: 3683795

One of the best interior designs ever for 42 ft, the CC Hunter Passage 42 is an American sailboat that was designed by the Hunter Design Team as a cruiser. As a recreational keelboat, it has a B&R masthead sloop rig with backstay, a center cockpit, a raked stem, a walk-through reverse transom with a swimming platform and folding ladder, an internally mounted spade-type rudder controlled by a wheel and a fixed wing keel. This vessel blends center-cockpit comfort with surprising performance in a contemporary cruising boat with bluewater capabilities. Her powerful masthead rig, roller furling jib and cockpit line-handling make those long passages truly enjoyable. There is even a double sun pad for those long, lazy afternoons.

Down below, people immediately notice how roomy and comfortable the Hunter Passage 42 feels, that it comes off like a much larger boat. The incredible salon is perfect for dining in or entertaining the crew. Any mate will appreciate the layout of the fully-equipped galley. Privacy is paramount for extended cruising and the Hunter 42 with its two-stateroom, two-head design keeps it that way. The sumptuous master stateroom offers a queen-size walk around berth, incredible storage and hanging lockers, plus a full head, complete with a shower-tub. The full-size berth, desk vanity, and adjoining head with shower in the forward guest quarters will be a comfortable refuge after a great day at sea.

This vessel is located in beautiful San Carlos Sonora, Mexico, A short 250 mile drive on a safe 4 lane highway from Nogales, Az. San Carlos is a known boating destination/community, featuring breathtaking scenery, quiet anchorages nearby, great fishing, diving, two marinas, 3 haul out facilities and much more.
