Kitty Toes is a Tayana 37 designed by Robert Perry. She has a long keel with a cut away forefoot making her a stable, easily handled cruising boat for a couple or a singlehander. The design includes extensive storage space throughout the boat – a requirement for any long distance cruiser. Over 400 of the boats have been built and a significant number of them have circumnavigated. There is a very active, supportive Tayana Owners Group both on Facebook and on Google.
Present owner has sailed Kitty Toes for the last 15 years with 13 of those years in the sea of Cortez, she is stored on the hard in the off season and is covered, all sails including dodger and running rigging are removed and stored below deck thus ensuring that this equipment is in top condition. Prior to the present owners the boat spent her time in the Gulf islands with a short stay in Alaska. Present owner sailed Kittytoes from the Gulf Islands to Mexico 2009 and has never left.
She has been in dry storage for the past 3 years. All sails dodger and covers stored below
deck and dry. Boat has a sun cover for protection in dry storage. Dry storage can be assumed by purchaser if so desired, thus having a location in Mazatlán to keep the boat. Due to health and age, current onwer is looking to have someone continue the adventures Kitty Toes has to offer!
