Designed by respected marine architect Nils Lucander and launched new in 2007, this long range coastal trawler is seaworthy, fuel efficient and has every conceivable cruising and live-aboard convenience. It was brought up from Anacortes WA under her own power, through the Alaska Inside Passage, across the Gulf of Alaska and into Prince William without incident the summer of 2016, and was berthed at Whittier Harbor Alaska, in 2022 traveled from Seward, Alaska to Vancouver, BC then 2023 cruised to Loreto and the Sea of Cortez.
Equipped with a complete Furuno electronics package, Northstar back up GPS, New Garmin 8612 xsv GPS, installed Aug 2022 and transducer, Comnav 101 Auto Pilot, Icom VHF and Single Side Band Radios. It has three steering stations with integrated Mathers Controls, a 10kw Deutz gen set, Trace 2500 watt inverter and 5KW isolation transformer.
Powered by two new Volvo D1-30F engines installed in Aug 2022 with Racor fuel polishing system and 425 gal. fuel capacity. She burns 1 gal. per hour at 6 KN per hr. and engines have just over 1350 hrs. Exhaust is a quiet, fly-bridge dry stack with Crowl mufflers, meaning you can enjoy the stern under way without noise and diesel fumes. The 316 SS Kort Nozzles allow for 90% prop efficiency and unbelievable handling. The vessel is secured at anchor by a hydraulic windlass with 360 cable and chain, 2 anchors, and a secondary manual windless. It is equipped with a hydraulic pot hauler station ready, fly-bridge boom davit and great deck storage.
Very well insulated for all season liveaboard cruising in Alaska coastal waters or Mexico’s heat and very quiet. She carries 425 gal. of domestic water with drinking water filtering system. The galley is equipped with propane and electric stove tops, Corian counter tops, great storage, 12 CU FT below deck freezer, 7 CU FT refrigerator and garbage compactor. Entering the V-berth on port is a large stand up shower. Directly across is a private vacuflush head and vanity. Aesthetic amenities include a 22’’ Sony Flatscreen and stereo sound system.
The most remarkable attribute is the tri-keel and 3/4" skid plates are designed to safely beach the vessel for emergencies, fun or maintenance. The operating systems are engineered to run while dry docked for short or long term, including gen-set, heating, water etc...SO IT WILL FUNCTION AS A COMFORTABLE CABIN!!! AND...the flybridge stack, mast and rails are collapsible, making the vessel legally trailerable sitting on it's own keel on a flatbed trailer.
