Empowering Education in La Paz: Join Us in the 2024-2025 Rotary Club Campaign

At La Paz Yachts, we believe that supporting our community goes beyond the sea—it extends into the classrooms and the futures of young learners in La Paz. For several years, we have had the honor of partnering with Rotary Clubs and the members of Club Cruceros de La Paz in their annual campaign to provide essential educational resources to students in need. As we approach the 2024-2025 campaign, we’re reaching out to our extended community to join us in making a difference.

Why This Campaign Matters

Education is a powerful tool that can transform lives, but many children in La Paz face significant barriers to accessing it. Long distances to schools, financial challenges, and the high cost of mandatory uniforms and supplies make it difficult for many families to support their children’s education. Unfortunately, this often leads to only 45% of children progressing to middle school.

This is where the Rotary Club’s campaign, supported by Club Cruceros de La Paz, comes in. By providing the first set of uniforms and supplies, we help young learners continue their education, reduce early pregnancy rates, and secure jobs with health benefits upon graduation. Thanks to generous discounts from suppliers, each donation package includes a full year’s worth of school essentials tailored to local needs.

Our Role and Commitment

At La Paz Yachts, we’re deeply committed to supporting this cause. We’ve been honored to contribute to this campaign, knowing that our efforts, along with those of Rotary Clubs and Club Cruceros de La Paz, directly impact the lives of children in our community. Over the past six years, our partnership has helped provide resources to students in five middle schools on the outskirts of La Paz. These efforts have enabled many young learners to stay in school, giving them a better chance at a brighter future.
