If you are looking to buy a boat with us here at La Paz Yachts, it starts with an offer to purchase the boat. This offer can be made sight unseen pending personal/professional inspection of the boat, and the Seller will either accept it or give a counter offer. Once basic acceptance of price and terms is made between the two parties we will help with all the necessary arrangements you need (such as surveys, haul outs, etc.) to come to a satisfactory decision.
All funds and paperwork are handled by an Escrow Company to protect all parties: the money is held in trust until the legal paperwork is completed by both parties, then the Title or Documentation is transferred, a Bill of Sale is given and the Money is deposited in the sellers account by the escrow company.
After you receive your new registration we assist you in the process of getting a new Temporary Import Permit for the boat in your name if you plan to keep the boat in Mexico.
